I'm twenty-six and currently live and work in New York City. I'm a city-dweller at heart and I can think of no better experience than getting "lost" in the vast expanses of a big city. That said, I don't mind leaving it all behind for a while and traveling to the most remote corners of the earth.

I recently returned from a year-long tour of duty in Iraq with the US Army Reserve's 329th Chemical Company. While there, I was able to invest in my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi and a few lenses which have served me well. I was able to capture many of the events that took place during our tour, to include promotions, award ceremonies, missions all over Iraq and many of the unique sights seen only in Iraq. Some of my images even made it to Army publications like the "Army Times."

I aspire to learn all I can about photography and am currently focusing on event photography and photojournalism as I very much enjoy to capture events as they unfold. I hope to one day get involved professionally in the photography industry, since there is no better way to improve as a photographer than by interacting with other photographers and taking as many pictures as you can.
